Silos, seed merchants, exporters and importers will all need fumigation treatments at some point, and BioSsol can help. We have the expertise to eradicate mould and yeast from grains and to ensure no nasty pests cross New Zealand’s borders.
BisoSol has a strong working relationship with both customs brokers and a wide range of import and export companies. Drawing on a wealth of expertise in the fumigation area, we not only ensure that goods coming into New Zealand meet border control standards, we also treat outgoing goods to the standards required by destination ports all over the world. Once goods have been fumigated, a copy of the fumigation certificate will be forwarded on to MPI, Quality Assure and the client. Safety data sheets and labels will be provided upon request.
Containers are treated with an odourless, colourless gas, while silos are treated with the application of prills or tablets. BioSsol can also undertake fumigation in open bays or sheds as required. Please note, there is a minimum 10 day stand down period between the date of treatment and any further shipments of grains.
